Ingredient:

  • 170 gr. - butter (at room temperature)
  • 2 eggs (at room temperature)
  • Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice
  • 1 teaspoon - lemon essence
  • 1 teaspoon - vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon & # 8211 baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

  1. Put the butter and sugar in a bowl, mix the ingredients together until you get a creamy texture.
  2. Then gradually break one egg at a time, continuing to mix.
  3. Then pour lemon essence, vanilla essence, grate the peel of a lemon and mix a little more.
  4. At the end, add the flour, salt, baking powder and incorporate all the ingredients together until you have no lumps.
  5. Take small amounts of dough (half a tablespoon) with two tablespoons and try to make round balls at a distance of 3 cm. on the prepared baking tray. Lemon peel on top of each biscuit.
  6. Place the pan in the preheated oven at 190 degrees C fan mode for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
  7. Remove the biscuits from the oven, let them cool completely and serve them with pleasure. Good appetite!

There, on any occasion, huge plates are brought with all kinds of cookies, which are more and more beautiful and tasty. Most are based on almonds, hazelnuts or dates. I always hunt those with jam and almonds and those called gazelle horns, also filled with almonds.

I kept looking for the recipe and I hardly managed to get it, especially since the many cookies I ate in Morocco were bought from confectioners or were made by different ladies who make sweets for any occasion. The truth is that when you have to make about a thousand cookies or maybe more, it is preferable to buy them, especially since they are made extremely well and with good ingredients.

The recipe for Moroccan cookies with almonds is very simple and easy to make. First of all, you need soft butter with at least 80% fat. Then the ingredients you already have in the kitchen: flour, sugar, eggs. Shredded almonds are easily found in the supermarket, and if necessary you can shred them at home, with a sharp knife. For the specific flavor of Morocco, I used the natural Moroccan almond essence from Dr. Oetker. It fits wonderfully in the recipe, and the taste of the cookies is wonderful, just like in Morocco.

The jam can be of any kind. The most suitable are apricot and strawberry, but you can also use berry jam, raspberry or any other. I sincerely hope that these Moroccan almond cookies have tempted you too, that you will try them and I am convinced that they will be among your favorites. They are tender, fragrant, simply melt in your mouth and last very well for several days. 5. Sprinkle the work surface and the dough with a little flour, shape a cylinder and cut it into 15 equal pieces, of about 40 gr each. Put them all in a bag, not to dry on the surface, and work with one.

6. Quickly round the dough, stretch it to a thickness of 3-4 mm, make an incision from one side to the middle and add filling.

Advice. Add any dense filling: jam, jam, nuts, dried fruit, sweet cottage cheese.

7. Cover the filling with dough, glue the edge, roll the triangle to the other edge, place the biscuit vertically and straighten the base.

8. Place the biscuits on the tray lined with baking paper and refrigerate for about 10 minutes.

9. Remove the tray from the refrigerator and place it in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes.

Allow the cookies to cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. The result is amazing: cute, beautiful and with a spring look. Biscuits can successfully beautify even the festive meal!

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Boil the box of condensed milk in a saucepan with water.

2. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the soft butter and rub the mixture with your hands.

3. Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Rub the yolks with sugar. Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until you get a foam.

4. Gather the prepared ingredients in a bowl. Add the baking soda quenched with vinegar and knead the dough.

6. Place the molds in the preheated oven at a temperature of 200 degrees, for 7-10 minutes, until golden brown. Baking time depends on each oven. Let them cool.

7. Fill the "nuts" with boiled condensed milk, then glue the halves.

Note: If you are going to use the electric appliance to prepare the "nuts", bake them for 3 minutes. If some "nuts" have been damaged during baking, mix them with condensed milk and fill the cookies.


MOROCCAN BISCUITS (FURSECURI) GHORIBA

I wanted to cook some cookies, which would contain as little fat as possible (especially butter) and at the same time be as tasty as possible. I discovered the recipe for Ghoriba & # 8211 cookies of Moroccan origin (and it is known that oriental desserts are considered some of the best in the world). Another thing I liked about Ghoriba is that we can change the flavor and thus get different tastes. Imagine: we cook from the same basic ingredients, and after choosing a different flavor we get a different kind of cookies - wonderful!

INGREDIENTS for 35 cookies:

wheat flour - 400 gr
powdered sugar - 200 gr + 2 tablespoons for rolling cookies
butter - 40 gr
peanut or sunflower oil - 45 ml
eggs - 2 pcs.
baking powder - 1 sachet
vanilla essence (or almonds) or other flavor to taste

Put the oil and butter in a saucepan and keep them on a very low heat until the last one melts. We put out the fire and wait for it to cool.
Beat the two eggs with the sugar powder within 5 minutes.

When the composition of butter and oil has cooled, pour it over the beaten eggs and mix a little more with the mixer to obtain a homogeneous mass. Also here we add the essence if it is in liquid form. If, however, we choose to use the powdered essence, we add it to the flour.
Sift the flour, mix it with the baking powder and add it little by little to the previously obtained composition. We get a not very consistent dough, so we put it in the fridge for an hour or until it becomes a little harder so we can work with it (only 30 minutes were enough for me).
Wallpaper an oven tray with baking paper, take the dough out of the fridge and start shaping the cookies. We take a little dough in our hand, about the size of a walnut, and form balls, which we roll in powdered sugar. We put each ball on the tray and press it lightly with our fingers, to give it a round and slightly flattened shape.


COOKIES WITH OAT FLAKES

For some time now I have had this recipe for oatmeal cookies in the archives. I found it quite healthy because we do not use eggs, it contains a little flour and a little fat (only 4 tablespoons of oil). So, people who eat healthy can include these little treats in their breakfast menu. Let's see how they are done.

oatmeal & # 8211 300 gr
brown sugar & # 8211 5 tbsp
vanillin & # 8211 2 sachets
oil & # 8211 4 tbsp
milk & # 8211 200 ml
baking powder & # 8211 1 sachet
prunes or raisins, sunflower seeds & # 8211 to your liking and taste

COOKING METHOD: Estimated time: 5 min + 30 min
