Baked green beans
And when it gets late, in the evening, I miss the cooking :). If you are wondering who else cooks in these heats, I answer: me, but with less meat and more vegetables. The recipe below is with green beans (my favorite), the first production this year received from my mother.
- 1kg green beans
- 200g carrots
- 150g onion
- 50ml oil
- 3 eggs
- 300ml cream
1. Clean the beans from the ends, wash them well and then break them in half.
2. We clean the carrot and put it on the large grater.
3. Heat the oil, add the grated carrot and let it simmer for 4 minutes. Add the chopped onion and leave for another 5 minutes.
Then put the beans, salt, mix and let it cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Add more warm water (about 150ml) and leave for another 20 minutes, practically until the beans are cooked.
4. Preheat the oven to 200g C
Put the mixture of beans, carrots and onions in a heat-resistant dish and add beaten eggs with sour cream and a little salt.
Bake for about 10 minutes until nicely browned on top.
Servim.

I also have a question: I know that the pork muscle comes out a bit dry. I would like to know if in this version it comes out juicy. Thanks!

Re: Pork steak with beans
the meat does not dry under the foil. but for safety, because I've learned a lot since I posted this recipe, put the oven on a temp. lower, 170-180C, not at 220C as specified in the recipe.

Re: Pork steak with beans
sage and basil must be fresh, right ??
I would really like to make this recipe today, but I'm afraid I'll go for a walk and I won't find green sage.
Ioana 6 years ago - November 17, 2011 09:32
Re: Pork steak with beans
yes, fresh. chances are you will find fresh sage and basil in bags at the supermarket. basil is sure to be found. and sage is found but not all the time. but you can try. I take 2 sachets each when I find them and put them in the freezer to make sure I have a long time and I don't have to run after it.
At Selgros they always have a lot of greens like this, but I haven't been long (it's far from me) so I can guarantee you 100%.

Re: Pork steak with beans
so I have to send you a big kiss for the tip: D

how efficient you are. why didn't I ever think of calling the supermarkets? I was spared many unnecessary roads from one end of the city to the other.

Too bad I'm sad now. maximum.
someone just told me that I need a ID to buy from selgros ... so I was happy in vain. let me keep looking. and you see what a good steak comes out after so much effort

Re: Pork steak with beans
you can go to selgros and without a card and ask the person in front of you at home to pass your products on his card. I've done this dozens of times in the selgros and the metro. you always find someone benevolent.

Re: Pork steak with beans
did you find sage? I saw it yesterday at the crossroads. did you like her aroma?
Roxanna Mika 6 years ago - 21 November 2011 14:12
Re: Pork steak with beans
Yes, I took from selgros and what I had left I put it in the freezer (as I found out from you).
How long can I keep her there?
As for the smell, yes it feels, it really has a strong and special smell, I really liked it.
I still have a little bit, a pap when I get home tonight, I hope it's just as good.
Ioana 6 years ago - 21 November 2011 14:17
Re: Pork steak with beans
I keep the greens in the freezer for 2-3 months. if you pack them well in bags or boxes so that they don't smell from something else in the freezer, they don't hurt. they will only be soft when you use them, but the aroma is intact. the basil is blackened in the freezer, but the aroma remains the same. when I didn't have the basil in the pot, I used frozen basil for the tomato sauce and it was great.

Thanks a lot for the answers
I would take pots too, I would make a whole greenhouse, if I could, but considering that we have a kitten that gnaws all the seedlings, I'm afraid I won't poison it or suffer anything
